நேற்றைய தினம் இந்தியா வந்த போலந்து பிரதமர் டொனால்டு டஸ்க்கை பிரம்மாண்டமான முறையில் வரவேற்றுள்ளார் பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி. 16 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு அரசு முறை பயணமாக இந்தியா வந்துள்ள போலந்து பிரதமர் டொனால்டு டஸ்க், டெல்லியில் பிரதமர் மோடியுடன் இருதரப்பு பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடத்தினார். அதில், ராணுவம், ஏஐ உள்ளிட்ட துறைகளில் ஒத்துழைப்பை வலுப்படுத்துவது குறித்து ஆலோசிக்கப்பட்டது.
பின்னர், இருவரும் கூட்டாகச் செய்தியாளர்களைச் சந்தித்தனர். அப்போது, 2030-க்குள் இந்தியா – போலந்து இடையேயான வர்த்தகம் இரண்டு மடங்காக உயரும் என பிரதமர் மோடி நம்பிக்கை தெரிவித்தார்.

தொடர்ந்து பேசிய போலந்து பிரதமர் டொனால்டு டஸ்க், இந்தியாவுக்கான நம்பிக்கை ஒளியாக பிரதமர் மோடி இருப்பதாகப் பாராட்டினார். இந்தியா – போலந்து இடையிலான உறவு பல ஆண்டுகளாக வலுவாக இருப்பதாகவும் டொனால்டு டஸ்க் குறிப்பிட்டார்.
மேலும் பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடியுடன் இணைந்து நடத்திய செய்தியாளர் சந்திப்பில் பேசிய போலந்து பிரதமர் டொனால்ட் டஸ்க், பிரதமர் மோடியை குறிப்பிட்டு “இந்தியா போன்ற ஒரு சக்திவாய்ந்த நாட்டை வழிநடத்தும் உங்களைப் போன்ற ஒருவர், எங்கள் அனைவருக்கும் நம்பிக்கையின் கலங்கரை விளக்கம். உங்களின் நண்பர் என்று என்னை அழைத்துக்கொள்வதில் நான் மிகவும் பெருமைப்படுகிறேன். கடந்த 35 ஆண்டுகளில், நமது இரு நாடுகளும் முன்னெப்போதும் இல்லாத பொருளாதார வெற்றியையும், துடிப்பான வளர்ச்சியையும் கண்டுள்ளன. எந்தவித சந்தேகமோ தயக்கமோ இன்றி நான் இதை வெளிப்படையாகக் கூறுவேன். இந்தியா வளர்ந்து வருவதையும், போலந்தின் வளர்ச்சியையும் கண்டு உலகம் நம்மைப் பொறாமையுடன் பார்க்கிறது” என்றார்.

Indian companies invest in Poland, among other sectors, in industry, information technology, pharmaceuticals and modern services. The Polish companies are developing operations in India in manufacturing, industrial technologies, medical devices, and the IT sector. These are important achievements, but still disproportionate to our potential. We want to jointly design, produce, invest, and create technologies for the global markets. We want Poland to be a gateway to Europe for Indian companies, and India to be a gateway to Asia for Polish companies. A new opportunity is created by the conclusion of negotiations on the EU-India Free Trade Agreement in January this year. We still have to complete the procedures necessary for its entry into force, but companies should prepare for the new opportunities today. Fewer barriers and predictable rules can speed up the exchange. But no contract can replace business contacts. Governments open doors, companies invest and create jobs. That is why today’s meeting is so important. Today’s talks showed how broad they are, the areas of our partnership can be.”

We also discussed ways to deepen India-Poland ties in technology, innovation and people-to-people exchanges.
We have agreed to establish an India-Poland StartUp Bridge and organise technology hackathons for our youth.We will also expand cooperation in AI, cybersecurity, education, culture, sports and tourism.
